Short Bio: 
Dr. San-José-Revuelta received the Ingeniero de Telecomunicación and the Ph.D. degrees from the University of Valladolid, Spain, in 1996 and 2001, respectively. He is currently an Associate Professor with the ETS de Ingenieros de Telecomunicacion, University of Valladolid, where he is currently teaching and supervising several master’s degree students. His research interests are natural computation methods applied to digital communications and medical signals processing. He also works in multidimensional and adpative filter design. His teaching consists in subjects related to random signals processing, evolutionary computation, and analog and digital filter design applied to communications. He has also been on two Master Degrees in signal theory and communications. He is also with the Laboratory of Image Processing, University of Valladolid.  The lab has been part of two networks of excellence, namely, the SIMILAR NoE of the 6th FP and the VPH of the 7th. He is a reviewer of IEEE Transactions on Signal Processing, Signal Processing (Elsevier), Information Sciences (Elsevier), Journal on Applied Soft Computing, Signal, Image and Video Processing, IEEE Transactions on Communications, Journal of Artificial Intelligence in Medicine, Computers & Operations Research, University of Mauritius Research Journal, Computer Communications (Elsevier), IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communications, IEEE Transactions on Broadcasting, IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology, International Journal of Communication Systems, and Computational Optimization and Applications (Springer). He also serves as a member of the scientific committee of the European Society for Fuzzy Logic and Technology (EUSFLAT). He is also member of the Editorial Board of the International Journal of Engineering Technologies (IJET).
