Flying to Valladolid

The Valladolid airport is in Villanubla, 10 km. from the city. Among others, there are direct flights  London, Brussels and Milan with Ryanair, to Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Tenerife, Paris and Barcelona with Iberia, and to Valencia with Lagun Air.

The trip from the airport to Valladolid can be made by bus, by taxi, or renting a car. The prices of a taxi ride are 18 euros from Mondays to Saturdays, and 19,50 euros on Sundays and festivities. One of the bus companies that make this travel is Linecar. The single ticket costs 3 euros, and a return one, 5 euros. The bus stops at the bus station of Valladolid. 

Flying to Madrid

There are connections from Madrid by train and by bus.

• By train:

  The rail company that operates in Spain is RENFE. The timetables and prices can be consulted in its webpage. The main train stations in Madrid are Chamartín and Atocha. However, the nearest train station from the airport is Chamartín. The trip from the airport to the station can be made using the Tube (Metro de Madrid). A map can be downloaded here.

• By bus:

  The main bus company that operates between Madrid and Valladolid is ALSA. There are bus trips every hour from 7:30am to 1:30am, departing from the Estación Sur (South Station), corresponding to the underground station Méndez Álvaro. A round trip ticket costs around 23 euros.

Transport in Valladolid

The bus is the public transport in Valladolid. The company that manages it is AUVASA. The bus line that goes to the ETSIT is line 8, with frequencies of 12 minutes on weekdays and 15 minutes on weekends and festivities. A map of bus 8's route can be accessed here.
