Short Bio:
Dr. Miguel Ángel Martín-Fernández received the Ingeniero de Telecomunicación and the Ph.D. degrees from the University of Valladolid, Spain, in 1999 and 2012, respectively. He is an Assistant Professor with the E.T.S.I. Industriales, the University of Valladolid, where he is also with the Laboratory of Image Processing (LPI). From 2012 to 2013, he was a Research Associate with the Center for Computational Imaging and Simulation Technologies in Biomedicine (CISTIB) in the University of Sheffield (United Kingdom). His research interests include medical image analysis and processing, with a special focus on image registration and statistical image analysis. He is author or coauthor of more than 20 publications in international peer-reviewed journals and conferences.
